I just dropped $10k on 16 windows from Pella. Acadian and Relief quoted me about $8k, but I liked the Pella windows better. Window world is garbage.
Do NOT, under any circumstance, buy Andersen windows.

I was Told by my window guy they will save 30% on the bill but only I the space occupied by the windows. If 10% of exterior is glass at is a 3% energy savings

I love to put my own windows in.
I like to make sure the window is flashed properly and if I use trim it is cellular pic trim.
3060 which is a common size window.
Builders grade window in that size which is what you get with window world or Relief Windows unless you go up is quality around $185 to $245 depending on window.
They sell a lot of Windows so they probably have a better discount.
3060 Low E, vinyl, no grids, retrofit, and maybe argon gas or not runs around $180 - $225 depending on mfg and where you buy it.
Better quality window and more options this price can go up quick.
Installer has to make a profit plus pay overhead, and pay for supplies ( trim, caulk, flashing, misc supplies).
Double the price and its around $360 to $450 per window on avg for a builders grade vinyl window installed.

Vinyl is NOT the best option if you have a decent house and plan to stay in it for a long time. We went with wood windows, but clad in vinyl on the outside for weather protection (and no need to paint/repaint). Vinyl looks cheap, and larger windows sag over time.
