I associate the word courageous with guys like Steve Gleason. Or someone like Warrick Dunn who has done far more to actually help the community he advocates for on a daily basis.
I can literally argue all day why Kaepernick isn't even remotely close to what I'd call courageous.

Daniel Kilgore spends a lot of time and money on programs for special needs children. I would have preferred he won the award. But I'm not on the team. Just a fan for 30 plus years.
