I was just thinking about doing this to my Browning BPS that is has the synthetic stock and non blued barrel. Its my turkey gun.
Is there any reason not to do a paint job like this? I don't care about the value of the gun I'll never sell it.

My old man painted his 870 about 30 years ago and it really looks like hammered arse now.
So plan on another paint job a really long time from now.
