How is it desperation to defend a side? Desperation to defend a side is creditong the inauguration with the increase in her sales when there's probably a more logical reason as to why those numbers increased.

No it's not "desperation" to claim this. Considering she isn't well known, the publicity of performing at the inauguration is helping boost sales. This is obvious.
The funny part is you coming out swinging acting like performing at the inauguration is not the cause of the higher sales. You threw out a hypothetical that didn't happen saying if she didn't perform than the sales would have been the same. Considering that isn't the reason for the sales going up since it didn't happen, your reply was desperation spin.
