I think the official offer to Travis Etienne is enough of a sign to me he's spoken to the LSU staff and it's not LSU. I follow recruiting but I'm certainly not in the know however, the official to Etienne basically means LSU is out of the mix. No?

I was listening to some of the posters on here that said Akers did not take an OV to LSU so that looks bad. LSU did not do any OV's in the season due to the temporary nature of the HC job. Akers did come to the LSU - UF game so I am not as concerned about that now.

Akers is gone gentlemen for whatever reason and to where ever, but it won't be LSU. As stated above the offer to Entiene 100% confirms it.

I mean.. it also came right on the heels of CEH "re-opening" his recruitment.
But I'm probably just being optimistic.

He's just being optimistic. LSU offering Etienne means Akers told the staff that he wasn't coming to Baton Rouge
