I second a day in Venice. It's an incredible city to walk around in and a gondola ride is pretty cool. We spent two days in Venice and really enjoyed exploring the city.

shite. Ok. You guys are making it tough for me. If it were me, I would blow and go. My wife likes to set up camp for at least several days.
We did Scandinavia a few years ago. Stockholm, Kalmar, Copenhagen, Trondheim, Bergen, and Oslo in 17 days. She hated packing/unpacking that much.

Better idea. Book a rick steves tour and let him book everything. We took his tour last april and it was FANTASTIC. Hotels great. Food great. No lines. Price great. U will see what is important to see and learn from his guides.
