Anyone see talent in Tiafoe? His forehand looks like a total disaster from a technical standpoint, and it doesn't seem to generate much pace. Isn't the best mover, yet I've seen several people pimping him as the next young up and coming American.
Frankly, Sock has the most potential to me of all the young up and comers we've been through since Sampras. He's got a great forehand and serve. His backhand has its moments. He moves pretty well.
Tiafoe in the times I've seen him looks like a pretty big disaster. Harrison looked better earlier.

Tiafoe is hyped primarily because of his athleticism.
Sock is already 24 and, while he has turned into a solid top 20 player, I don't see him getting to the elite level. His backhand is still a liability and he can't hang with the top guys mentally.
As far as the young Americans go, I'd go with Fritz as having the best shot of reaching the top.

You realize he's the second highest ranked player under 20, right?

Only if we're talking handsomeness. Harrison was never ever going to be elite. And if you couldn't see it after five minutes of watching that guy play -- even at 19 -- you either weren't paying attention or you don't have the ability to make those kinds of distinctions.
