Seems to me you are going from frying pan into the fire....Healthcare situation with obamacare would steer me away...thing about free is eventually someone will run out of money....couple that with the power the Louisiana nursing board has over you....one slip, one drive home after 3 beers and you get arrested and they OWN you dangling your career and jumping through hoops for them. I would find something that I LIKE to do and go to school for that....Money is a good thing but it is not EVERYthing....Nurses make decent money, but not OT baller cash worth all the crap....if healthcare is your calling go to PA school....don't choose healthcare if you don't love it....I did and I developed a disdain for people, in general...it took many years for me to have compassion and empathy for people outside of my own family. I'm better now, but I throw up in my mouth when I think about doing it again...no way in hell...
