Im sorry but you're a fool if you thought black caucus people like Sharon Weston Broome were going to vote in favor of the ISD if a city were formed. You didn't need them anyway.

You're also a fool if you believe the majority of EBR parish is going to vote in favor of the ISD after SG is formed and allegedly takes their tax base away.

Due to the fact that it requires a majority vote in EBR, The reality is that creating a city makes the ISD less likely. Not more likely.

What it DOES do however is route money and the ability to dole out quid pro quo contracts to people like Bodi White or whoever runs SG.

It's what he tried to do for CH2MHill in central. All of those people were getting free work done to their own personal property, their friends businesses were getting subcontracted out, etc.

The SG ISD is a good idea. The desire to incorporate is classic BR/Louisiana BS.

The whole state votes for an area to become an ISD. If St George becomes a city then they would have to go through the process of getting this on the ballot. If it goes that far 9 out of 10 it will pass. The first thing in their favor people across this state hate the BR establishment. Second thing in their favor people have empathy for people fighting for better public schools across this state.

Thank you.

Most just want an ISD. Give us the ISD and let's move on.

The incorporation thing was a red herring designed to change the target and stop the ISD.
