They weren't married. She had little to do with finding the treasure (she was only in it because she was obsessively trying to get the Declaration of Independence back) and absolutely nothing to do with the research. She turned them away rudely when they warned her that Sean Bean's men were going to steal it.
She shouldn't have a claim to anything.

love these movies. They have the rights to a 3rd one, but apparently they've gone back and forth on scripts
