quote:The "Great Recruiter" that can't technically coach a lick (Dameyune Craig) has somehow convinced O that we all of a sudden need a DTQB to beat Bama.
The roster and QB should determine the offense not the OC. We need to hire a OC that can adapt to the strengths of the roster and where recruiting takes us. If Myles Brennen comes here we adapt to his strengths. I like Kiffin because of this. Helfrich not so much.
That's why O "Flipped" and went from wanting a Pro-Style QB (Said that right after he was hired as Interim HC) to wanting a DT and that's why we offered the Bama QB Commit from Hawaii. (That we have no chance of landing)
Really dumb, stupid and ridiculous move. You accomplish nothing in the process but pissing off Brennan. BTW, I went to two of MB's games. LSU simply can't afford to lose a QB that has such advanced passing/reading defenses/going through progressions skills already in HS. He also has good pocket mobility and escapability as well; good enough to run a Power Spread Offense in the SEC.
I see Craig's footprint all over this potential fiasco, not Orgeron's, but O better fix it.............
