i think kiff's pay would have been substantially bigger than just 1.35.
in the end, UH gave it to the guy that they could get for cheap and someone they knew actually wanted to be there.

3.5 million isn't cheap and not much less than Elmer Fudd was receiving. I don't think Alleva settled. Herman and Fisher weren't available and all of the remaining suspects were suspect.
O may be a misstep but he can recruit as well as MIles and he will be an improvement on the field.
