That's great news. The fewer degenerates in this country the better.

Stay classy. You know someone with an opiate addiction, probably much closer to home than you think. You'll re-evaluate your position once you're directly struck with this.

You're a total twat and should be ashamed.

Wrong. I have been an addict. Pretty bad. In and out of jail with it for about two years, almost killed myself a couple times with it, the whole nine yards. I god damn guarantee I know more about addiction than a lot of holier than thou people in this thread, and I am telling you that the way to help an addict is not to pity them or to "be there for them." It's to fricking hate them. Be angry at them. If you love them without the drugs, hate them that much more for using. Be mean to them. Tell them to their face "you are a degenerate piece of shite." The problem is going to keep getting worse until people start to have as little respect for a drug addict as they have for themselves. And guess what? A heroin user knows from the first hit they take that heroin can and will fricking kill you. And they take it anyway. That is a detestable act, and not a single people on this earth feeling sorry for them and oh how sad and think of the children is doing a damn thing to help, and they're actually making it worse.
