At least you got something.
I've worked at my hospital almost 10 years. I think I've gotten bonuses around the holidays like maybe twice.
Last year I got a gift bag from my manager with a couple pieces of candy and some bath and body works travel sized lotion.
ETA: The stuff was bought from my manager's own money, which was very nice of her. She wanted us to have at least something. Wasn't trying to sound ungrateful for that.

I've got to be honest, I would be more pissed off if my boss handed me that than if they didn't give me anything at all.

We don't get a fiscal bonus, but we got custom North Face/Columbia jackets as a Christmas gift. They are pretty legit.
