No. There is plenty of waste in defense spending, I'm sure. That is a different issue from the defense budget as a part of our national economy...it ain't all waste.

several points here:
The technology that compromises the wing and airframe is widely known already. it's not proprietary, because we already sold it across the globe. The US sold its F35 design to the Japanese too.
Software and sensitive components don't have to be compromised even if its built in India. That's pretty simple to understand.

All government spending is consumption from an economics standpoint. Every penny.
