This is what I don't understand.... there is a 0% chance we win out have u watched one game this season? So why don't we hope something that benefits the team for the future happens? What benefits this team for the future is to have a top 10 draft pick to hopefully grab a difference maker because whatever is happening now isn't working. I do actively root for my saints to win especially against division foes but I'm not gonna lie, it doesn't bother me one bit when we lose these type of meaningless games because it ultimately helps us.

yes I have seen this team and they have shown enough poise and efficiency to actually do it. The issue is the consistency and that is what happens with young teams.
It won't bother me if we lose, but as long as there is still a possibility (which there actually is) than I won't want to lose until then. Brees routinely dismantle defenses, especially in the playoffs, so any chance at going back means I want it.

Nah bro it's 0% I've watched every game and by no means am an expert but how can u not agree? the flaws are not much different than previous years and we routinely get burnt by penalties and still struggle to get off the field on 3rd down. This alone is a recipe for disaster not to mention poor play calling, inconsistent run game, and TERRIBLE corners and safeties. Von Bell looks to be the future but we know what vacxaro and Byrd are.

We suck and find ways to lose. But if you don't see how much better this team is than the teams we had in 14 and 15 you don't really understand football

Even if we did tank do you have the confidence this organization will make the right decisions in the draft?

Your comment is supporting the sentiment in the OP. Regardless, you and your friends are not gonna have sex in my car

Last two drafts say for the most part they made good picks.
They cannot predict serious injuries that happen on the field (Swann and PJ Williams). Clearly the kikaha one should have been reconsidered but he had 2.5 years with no problems on that knee up until this offseason.
They missed on Anthony and taking a qb is no surefire bet in any round.
But they also should get credit for picking up players they did hit on. I believe Peat has allowed 2 sacks all year, I believe none at LG. Rankins is a stud. Thomas is great. Bell has shown flashes in coverage, but great in the run, and for a project onyemata has played very well.

We're a little better in the front 7 and the o line is plAying out of their mind. Those are positives but we continue to suck in the secondary and have no rythm on offense unless Brees is lighting the other defense up. This team is better at some things and just as shitty if not worse in other areas. This dumpster fire is burning as hot as what's going on in BR. I put my saints glasses on and follow what ur saying thinking this team is different than the last two years but in reality we're another barely mediocre 7-9 aints team.

We are significantly better on both sides of the ball. Special teams has been a disaster and last week was the first week all year they truly looked bad. And that happens to everyone, even the great teams. I'm booking my flight to Houston

you miss the point. tell me how many super bowls have we won with all these middle of the road draft spots?
either win or tank for the best position. Payton does not do either.
They are just stacking superbowls In Cleveland with all the number 1 picks. Tennessee too
