The good:
1) Les is gone and he took his Flinstone's offense with him along with his inattention to detail.
2) Until proven otherwise, Orgeron is a great recruiter and should keep us well stocked.
3) We kept Aranda.
The bad or uncertain:
1) Does Orgeron have the goods as a head coach- temperament, organizational skills, attention to detail, game managment etc?
2) Are these first few stumbles (the confusion about QB recruitment, and offensive style) a bad omen?
Worst case: Even at Ole Miss, he recruited well enough to leave Houston Nutt with good enough athletes to appear in two consecutive Cotton Bowls. If he fails, there should be enough talent for a quick turnaround.
Hopefully it won't come to that. We have to let it play out. None of the other candidates (beyond Herman or Fisher) were a sure thing either.
