I'm Catholic also (not hugely devout), but I'm not a big fan of the current pope. He's a straight-up socialist. He needs to STFU about economic policies and stick to the religious stuff.

Why? Does religion, morality, and philosophy not influence one's beliefs on politics, economics, justice, and society? It's absurd that the most important aspect of a Christian's life shouldn't influence these beliefs and their vision for an ideal society.
