XBONE Wifi Issues

I pulled the trigger on an XBONE and out of the box it would completely shut down each time I connected to my Wifi. But, Only when the right password was inputted. (I tried diff variations just out of curiosity). I did some research and tried a wired connection, which ended up being better for gaming anyways.
I sent it back to amazon and I experienced the same issues with the next one they shipped. So i just said frick it and decided to just use a wired connection.
Anyone else experienced anything like this?

Why would you ever try and use a wifi connection anyways?
It should pretty much always be hardwired.

I Know I know, I haven't owned an XBOX for almost 5 years, and even then I used it mostly for media. I'm relatively new to online gaming. In the end it did lead me to a better connection so I guess its a good thing.

I fought that wifi connection for 2 weeks after I got the console, and could never make it work well enough to even complete a digital download.
Wired it, and have not had a single issue.
It's just too much data to go over wifi.

Shitty wiring situation in my place dictates that I use WiFi, I haven't had issues with MP gameplay or downloads. The OPs issue sounds really strange though.

Out of curiosity do you have a wireless surround sound? I moved my first Xbox one from the bedroom to the living room and had wireless surround sound and it would cause the controller to lose connection from the signal.

Nope, I did experience connectivity issues with the controller initially (even with new batteries), but it has since subsided.
I dunno maybe there's some kind of connectivity issue. Just looked at other forums and i'm not the only one experiencing this.

I bought the Storm Grey 500 GB bundle with Battlefield One. Never tried wifi on it. I will when I get off work and report back if I have same issues.

This is not always true. I get significantly better speed over wifi than over Ethernet cable.

I have never heard or experienced a connection that has a higher ping on wifi than it does hardwired.
Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. Hardwiring also is more stable in my experience. I know latency can drop if you have a lot of devices going.
Like on saturdays I have Watch ESPN going on both of my tvs, another game streaming on my Macbook and then I'll game it up on my monitor. I typically will have to refresh at least one of streams every hour or so.
Granted, I'm a single guy in an apartment with 80mbps internet. Obviously if you have badass internet it likely won't matter.
