re: Atheists and Christmas

I celebrate it like pretty much everyone else does for the most part with all the commercial shite. Tree/Lights/decorations all over my house cause of my wife and kid. Don't pay attention to the Christian addition to the winter solstice holiday. No issues with telling people Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.

I am not a big fan of the Santa Claus lie to children, but will let my wife have her fun there. I draw the line at the fricking elf on the shelf. My kid will call bullshite on that crap. I have already talked about it with my friends who have kids and to let that one go when my kid is around. I won't lie to her about it if she asks me, but I won't try to get her to ruin their fun either.
