Also, if I recall, before the housing market crashed, they were giving house loans out to anyone.. I remember seeing on 60 min or some show like that, where a black woman was told she could get a loan and only pay so much, etc.. And when it was all said and done, they used her husband's information, who was dead, to get approval.. They didn't mention he was dead, just that he worked at where ever and made so much money.. She ended up having to walk away from the house because she couldn't make her monthly payments. So why was a black woman able to get a loan so easy?
