That's probably right then. It's been a minute since I made my rigs. Heavier is better. If the mono is too small, itll have tangling and coiling problems.

Did you order crimps online, or does Academy have them?
I found 100 aluminum double sleeve crimps for 400 lb. mono for $18 online. Does that sound about right? That'll do 50 rigs since I need 2 per rig.
