Why don't y'all just figure out how to sell more widgets? Keep everyone working full time?

Agreed. The higher-ups normally cut hours/expenses from my department, whenever savings are needed..this yr was a big push to cut from other departments first. Those departments are now in their busy season, so the move as shifted into my area, as my dept. is in it's frick off season.
