UW fans: How is your team in the trenches?

Haven't watched hardly any of the Huskies this year. So how do you think your OL will match up with Alabama's DL and vice versa?

Their d-line has been pretty good this year

Our OL has two very good tackles, but a little weak on the interior. The left guard and C were both all conference, but I think that Alabama's interior DL will eat them alive. The RG spot has been a revolving door year round and will be the biggest weakness on offense.
Our DL has 3 very good DTs.
Elijah Qualls is the 6th ranked DT for 2017, 3rd for 2018 and is projected to go in rounds 2-3 if he leaves early
Vita Vea is the 3rd ranked DT for 2017 and is projected to go in round 2
Greg Gaines is the 7th ranked DT for 2019

When we play those 3 at the same time, the run defense is pretty good.
The DE's are a big weakness. We had Joe Mathis, who was rated by PFF as the top edge rusher in the country, but then got injured about halfway through the season and is done for the year. There is a big dropoff after him.

Seems like Jake locker has been there forever.

How is the pass rush? Seems like we have attacked the edges more with our running backs (when Lane decides that we should actually run the ball) and have had success. But Hurts is still very much a freshman and makes mistakes when under pressure.

Marques Tuiasosopo will dismantle Alabama's secondary

The interior pass rush is decent, but the pass rush from the edge has not been good since Mathis went down.
UW has one of the lowest blitz percentages in the country. It's a very similar style defense to the Seahawks. Rush 3 or 4, play really good coverage, don't give up big plays, and force a team to execute a lot of plays in a row in order to put together a solid drive.
The LBer core took a hit went Azeem Victor went down. He was our leading tackler and an absolute stud. There's an outside chance me makes it back, but I'm not counting on it. UW has one of the best secondaries in the country though.

USC's D-line pushed them all over the field and Browning is a different QB if you make him move a bit. D-line is pretty good, but has some injuries.
Type of team Bama feasts on. Bad matchup for UW

I'm thinking our game plan will be to establish the pass early to loosen up the secondary for our running game. Which will piss every Alabama fan off until we start having success running the ball in the 3rd and 4th quarter
And for Browning, obviously he is an elite quarterback and teams have always done well against us when their QBs are great. But hasn't he been turning the ball over more recently? With Alabama's ability to create turnovers and then take those turnovers to the house, we may see some more NOTs for Bama.

He hasn't necessarily been turning the ball over more recently, but he's struggled a lot when there is tight coverage in the secondary. He's actually been pretty good under pressure this year, but doesn't like throwing the ball into tight windows. He does a great job of taking care of the ball which leads to the negative of him holding onto the ball for too long sometimes.

USC made Browning run for his life.
If UW can't establish the run...and they can't against Bama just like they couldn't against USC...
Washington had 17 yards rushing in 27 attempts against USC...
Browning will be will be like Grogan against the Bears. USC sacked him 3 times, Bama will have 6.
Worst team in the playoffs.
Should have been Michigan, missed out by an inch.
There should be a requirement for physical teams. Teams that don't collapse against muscle.
