Finally Went to the Dark Side

Finally bought an Xbox One...
Like it so far, especially the fact that I can plug my external HDD's straight into if and play all my downloaded TV shows and movies. Can't do it on PS4. You have to put them on a thumb drive in a particular folder structure. Won't even power a full size external drive.
Cons so far:
Dashboard is clunky and slow as hell to respond to commands. PS4 is snappy.
MS needs to get their shite together for people that travel all the time. On the Xbox One you cannot plug in an ethernet cable or get on wifi in a hotel or any where else that requires a login to access the internet.
It is stupid as hell that you either have to contact where you are staying and have them manually add the MAC address to able to access the internet and Live or you have to spoof the MAC address from another connected device to the Xbox One in which case you can access online apps such as Netflix, etc.., but due to NAT type it will give you, you can't play online.
This works perfectly on the PS4. Plug in ethernet cable. go to browser, try to load a webpage, login page for internet access comes up, prosper.

I've traveled with my xbox a few times and never had that problem

It won't work at all for me without the MAC spoofing work around and there are tons of threads all over the web about it.
