Exactly. Penn State fans that appear to show reverence for Paterno are likely just showing appreciation for Paterno's on the field product and actions. I imagine that most Penn State fans would agree that Paterno's off the field inaction wasn't good.

Lol. I grew up in upstate NY along the PA line and that's totally false. I'm not even messing around like I was earlier. These people 100% think he did no wrong. I'd like to say I'm wrong but I'm not. I grew up around these people and lived there when this was going down and a good majority of Penn State fans think JoePa handled the Jerry Sandusky incident very well and that it was no big deal.
