Tulane tries to compare itself to LSU?
Academics are the thing you know...

Tulane should be the answer, and it's not close.
Most people on here will disagree and say that either
1) The northern libs/SJWs of the campus ruin any potential it has
or
2) The northern girls are dogs and there is a severe lack of attractive girls
The truth is that the campus is very diverse and it's what makes Tulane great. It's a very out-of-state feel because of the majority of the population with all the in-state flair and culture of being located in NOLA. Many of the out of state kids also come to love NOLA and Louisiana as much, or even more, than people born and raised here. I've been happy to see increasing numbers of Tulane grads staying in NOLA and the surrounding areas to contribute to economic growth with each passing year since I graduated. This is without even getting into the far superior night life Tulane and NOLA offer compared to LSU or UL (Haven't been to other campuses, but I doubt they offer much more than those two do). You want college-y bars like Tigerland? Go to The Boot, Red Eye, Maple Street bars, the Palms, or even Gold Mine down in the Quarter. You want a classic NOLA night out? Hit the Quarter and Bourbon Street. You want clubs? Eiffel Society or Ampersand or whatever other douchey places like that are popular now. You want to go to normal bars for a 20 or 30 something? Bulldog, Finn McCools, or any other number of Magazine Street or Mid City places. You want to get divey? Snake & Jakes.
Anyone that claims Tulane girls are all ugly has never actually been there to see for themselves. Each sorority has plenty to offer, especially Pi Phi, Kappa, Chi O, and Theta. Even the lower tier ones had hotties when I was there. I will admit the lowest tier suffered pretty badly, but I've heard even those have picked up in recent years. Believe me, there are plenty of attractive girls walking around that campus. I was damn surprised at just how many there actually were when I started, as my expectations were low. Another nice thing about Tulane girls is that they actually dress attractively on a daily basis. None of this huge t-shirt and Nike shorts nonsense. They go to class looking good and they go out looking good.
