I agree, but heat can and it doesn't have to be fully melted to cause the collapse of the building, it just has to be heated enough to weaken them.
Moreover, only complete and utter retards are dumb enough believe that there was some sort of conspiracy. It was a jihad attack, but nonetheless we are not at war with Islamic terrorists, but with the ideological force of Islam and all those that follow that ideological force of Islam, i.e., ALL MUSLIMS IN THE WORLD.
