Bro in Law lives on the golf course just a mile from there and works at Dow. Was told to go home, stay inside, and turn off AC.

Wonder why they tell them not to run the AC?. Home ACs are closed loop systems so they don't bring any air in from the outside. Just recirculate the interior air.
