Jesus I think we can agree on just burning people the wear flag cloths. Umm No I really don't get my panties in a wad. I don't honestly care what people do. Nothing anyone does or says can ever diminish what the symbol of the American flag means to me.

I do however honestly believe that the people doing these things to the flag are not doing it to make any statement whatsoever other than to do something that they know drives the people they hate wild and gets under their skin. Really do you honestly think that burning a flag will ever in a million billion years make someone who sees the flag as a symbol of pride stop and say "Oh, you're upset about something, come in and lets talk about it." No, and they know this. They don't even want to talk about the problems, they want to make the other people feel as frustrated and angry as they feel like they do. It's not about fixing anything, its about lashing out.

That's why I say if people are offended by people burning the flag, then they should seek out the symbol that best represents the people burning their flag and burn that symbols too. Be it and African flag, gay pride flag, LSU flag whatever.

No none of this settles anything but apparently it make you feel better..
