Even if we had won against Florida, AU still has a better case for making the Sugar than we do.
I'm ok with Jerry Palm's prediction of LSU vs Nebraska in the Outback on Jan 2. Bring on the Huskers. A win against them is long overdue.

Had LSU beat Florida, we were a lock for the Sugar. You know Auburn has 4 losses right? (Clemson, A&M, Georgia, Bama). LSU really has no one to blame but themselves not getting it done against the Gators.

I could definitely get excited about playing Nebraska. I would also like to see an LSU-FSU matchup for the O-Jimbo aspect
