I have been following this kid since the 8th grade because not only has he been a stud athlete but he also went to my alma mater U-high. You could tell he was absolutely a die hard tiger fan..even more so than other big time LSU commitments. That's why I was so shocked when he committed to Alabama because it seemed he always had that purple and gold running through his veins.
This is why I feel something stinks in Suburbia. All the Baton Rouge/LSU connections, his siblings in B.R., his Dad having a big law practice here in addition to my never hearing anything but positive things about his childhood in Baton Rouge. He grew up with class, and if he were really choosing Alabama, it seems he would go about it in a different way. You don't just have so much loyalty to a program and it's fans and then all of a sudden switch to the program's arch rival and start kind of taunting the hometown fan base with all the Alabama talk and tweets. I just don't see his family allowing him to go about his recruitment in this manner that is somewhat hurtful to sensitive hometown fans that make take it a little personally. Especially so after all the city of Baton Rouge has been through this year. It's just all been a little too much taunting and pro Alabama, and I feel like he is trying to convince someone of something that is not true. I am sure he is super impressed with Alabama, and they are definitely where he would choose if the LSU program did not have a promising future. And he does have the right to choose..I just would not expect it to go down in this manner after all the history he has with the program and B.R. Just my two cents.
