Yes he did. I wish someone would ask him about what he said when he took the interm job saying he wanted a dropback QB and pro style offense. Why the sudden change?

Maybe, just maybe, the pro-style response was in reference to what we were going to run the remainder of this year based on what we have on hand. And it's closer to what we run and he wasn't going to completely overhaul the offense mid season.
And now, he knows he has to make a change to put his stamp on it. And moving forward he wants a dual threat qb to run a spread.
