Fleck is easily the best available. Kiffin has been an unmitigated failure everywhere he's ever been. Without daddy Saban, kiffin is nothing

So you guys really want him as the OC under Ed O?

This will be their fallback, I would imagine Kiffin would be first up. Fleck probably takes the P5 job. Houston's money still can't match that.

Noel Mazonne would be interesting. He runs a similar offense and has had a solid year at A&M, considering Knight's limitations. Their shite D isn't his fault. And he doesn't have Kiffin's ample baggage. Just a flyer there.

Fleck to Purdue is already being reported. That makes Kiffin the top guy imo

No. He will develop the QBs, but his play calling is erratic, as best. It hasn't bitten you guys too often, but it's still there. The first half vs LSU was a total head-scratcher.

If you guys can't land a proven OC it spells doom for the O tenure

If I were Kiffin, I would stay right where I am until the right P5 job open, just like Smart did. Houston has money, but as soon as they lose one game- totally irrelevant.

He can't stay at Bama any longer. The Houston HC job is better than the lateral move to LSU.

Trust me, we know.

The issue with a spread for us in the short term is the transition. It may not be as easy as some think with our current roster makeup. However, looking for a pro style guy may not be so easy either because of the limited field.

I get that the Houston head gig is better. No question there.

Why can't he stay at Bama? Maybe I don't hang around the SECr enough, but I've never heard that one before.

The whole reason Saban brought in Sark was to make the transition smoother after this season.

I understand that. Is this a forced move or is Kiffin just ready to move up? I would guess the latter, but I'm just curious.
