Opinions are like gambling. The more one sided people think the lesser side is usually correct.

I hope O proves all the nay sayers wrong.

He wasn't hired at Syracuse or Purdue because of clash of cultures. Can anyone imagine his great Cajun dialect speaking with those uppity folks?

Archer couldn't/wouldn't recruit, and LSU didn't have the money or the facilities to compete. Anrsbarer(?) couldn't compete nationally.

Curly was an idiot.

DiNardo failed because of Tepper.

No one liked the Saban hire either, but Emmett taught Saban how to work the administration. That taught Saban to be great.

Alleve has put his entire career on the line for O. He will teach O how to utilize the administration.

It's been 10 years since the Ole Miss days. He has been mentored and networked better than most college coaches in the past decade.

He has his dream job. His once in a life time chance to make his daddy proud. He will kill himself to make this work.

Please O prove the Rant wrong.

NO he wasn't hired, because he wasn't a good coach.

Dinardo wasn't a good coach. We hired a coach with a losing record, and he wasn't good. He has a losing record at 2/3 schools he coached at. He has a losing conference record at all 3 schools. in 12 years of coaching he has 9 losing season to 3 winning seasons. YOu don't hire a coach with a shitty record and expect him not to suck.

the year before we hired Nick Saban he had wins over tOSU, Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame.

in the bast decade he has not been mentored better than most college coaches. The Last 2 CFB Coaches he coached with got fired mid season.

HE had 1 year on the Saints roster. I don't think Payton was mentoring a 50 year old DL coach.
