I'm disappointed but I agree. Herman is not Saban, Meyer, or Harbaugh. He got his arse kicked by SMU, Navy, and Memphis when he had a path to the CFP handed to him on a silver platter. He doesn't deserve that kind of money.

While not entirely unfair, he's been the hottest name all season for every possible open coaching job.
You have to imagine that it's been quite hard to keep his team focused with all the rumors surrounding him.
