It's whatever, I don't care really. But alleva needs to be gone. Part of the reason for firing Miles was to get a 2 month headstart on getting a football coach. And if we are just going to hire Orgeron - fine, but what has Alleva been doing for the past 2 months?

Right. The thing I don't get about the "keep Coach O" folks (the real ones, not the trolls) is..it's a lateral hire. You don't fire Les to hire O. They're the same Coach just with different sized clothing. Les is the best version of Coach O.
So if we hire Coach O, firing Les likely did nothing to improve the team. Which means the AD miscalculated and screwed up.

If LSU hires O as head coach, then they have conceded that being 2nd tier and profitable are the only goals.
