My argument against Coach O is that the only argument FOR Orgeron is if he can keep Aranda and hire an elite OC. If Orgeron can only succeed is we have one of the best OCs and DCs in the country, then Orgeron isn't the guy
I'm Herman all the way, but this is argument makes the least sense out of anyone you can present. There isn't a championship coach out there that doesn't have excellent assistants college or pro. The first thing needed is talent second is coaching. Saban without Kiffy and winning two titles with the offense he was running. Herman without his defensive coordinator ain't beating Louisville. Pete Carrol at USC without Chow ain't wining shite.

And there isn't a championship coach out there that went 10-25 in his only permanent head coaching opportunity. Where was the leadership last week when the players needed it against Florida? Oh wait, it was the players fault, right? No, it was Ensminger's fault, right?

No way an LSU fan should have Coach O as their #1 choice just that simple.
He lost to BAMA in the same fashion Les teams lost to BAMA. Funny how other schools with less talent can find ways to score 11 or more freaking points but LSU under O or Miles can't.
His ability to motivate players is very good but just seems it would get old and it runs a fine line. LSU teams under Coach O have become like "Miami of old" with their antics on the field. It could easily get out of control with the wrong players.
UF game was the one that lost it for me. No way LSU should have lost that game. A 14.5 favorite at home and you LOSE? So if coach O was good enough to be LSU coach he couldn't find a way to just win that game? It's basically Les Miles 2.
Coach O hasn't even been a college coordinator since Ole Miss except for the 8 games as HC interim at USC. Would anyone else even be looked at with this resume?
I like Coach O but if wants to be a HC again at a big time school he needs to go to a smaller one and have success then he might get another look from a big time program until then he is what he is..
