re: Lost in Space on Netflix (Parker Posey): ETA: SPOILERS

1st episode was okay, a bit slow. Obviously not the fun, campy style of the original. Billy Mumy (original Will Robinson) cameo as the real Dr. Smith was a fun easter egg for us old guys. See where it goes the next few episodes. Visuals were really good.

That pilot episode was/is so bad that it was insulting.

Bad writing, bad directing, bad production .... bad bad bad science.

Where to begin?

First, the writers and Director for that show should be incarcerated ... in the deepest darkest bowels of the most hellish prison in Africa.

Secondly ... producers and Director should be cast out to sea in an inflatable backyard pool and, if they were to survive the crossing, perhaps that would have given them time to reflect on what a shite product they tried to pawn-off on us.

Third. Since when did Will become such a little pussy? When did Maureen become such a modern day lying manipulative bitch? And how the frick is Judy .... I mean, WTF?

Now, last but not least and this one really pisses me off but never, not ever, has Hollywood so obviously illustrated their open disdain for our collective intellegence.

The science was so frickin' bad in this movie I literally caught myself practically talking to myself out loud saying, "oh, please no. No, not that. WTF. Who wrote this horrible shite?" It was that goshdamn bad.

The geology was bad, the physics were bad, the meteorology was bad, the psychology was bad, the botany was bad, the robotics was bad ... we should all be seriously insulted that they threw this shite out there and expect us to watch it.

I am going to eat their frickin' lunch on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. That crap I just watched was seriously not even one star worthy.

Hell, even the sappy Sophie's Choice background score was pathetic. I kept thinking, who are they targeting with this bullshite? Women? Goth kids? Cuck nerds?

The nerds will eat their lunch on this on the bad science alone.

I give it one star and that's half star too much.
