ok, short story. I am older than most of ya'll, so My teacher asked what we should get a student for his b-day ( i was in the 4th grade). I immediately responded " a N-shooter" not really thinking anything about it. My teacher, who happened to be black disapproved of my comment, strangely enough. I had to go home and write the defintiion on the n word 100 times. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I went to Catholic schools and yes they were big on writing lines. They would also give you near impossible numbers to write, like 10,000 times or something. I waited way to close to the deadline once and knew there was no way I could get it done in time. Then a "buddy" recommended using multiple sheets of carbon paper (like they weren't going to notice) so I could write 10 or so pages at a time. You had to keep the pages perfectly aligned and press really hard but my time was short. So while everyone was playing at noon recess, I was sitting alone, feverishly writing "I will not cheat in school"....LOL! Well when the bell rang to go back to class, I thought I had made my deadline. That was until I started pulling the carbon paper out of the stack and realized I had put it in with the carbon facing the wrong way! Not a good day when a nun reverts to the paddle in front of the whole class.
