Evans was the first St. Michael's basketball player to sign a Division I scholarship since 1996....
He averaged 8 points per game as a freshman for the Bearcats.......LSU has better guards on the current squad. Blakeney would eat Evans for breakfast and Sampson isn't far behind....Good player but not great.

quote:Your information is innacurate. However, Evans will be first team all conference this year for his team. He is the best player on a ranked team. I wont argue that he is better than Blakeney, but you must not be too familiar with how he has develepoed to say he is a good but not great player. Dude will be the second player out of St Michael to play in the NBA.

Edit: Sampson was rated #1 and Evans #2 in LA coming out of High School. As an LSU fan I can admit we got the 2nd best player. Evans is better. Even saw them play each other in High School. Evans played a better game by far. Cincy coach even said he found a diamond in the rough and said he is going to be a star this year.
