Kudos to you for your honesty. And on the other end of the spectrum, Republicans are nearly heartless in the face of misfortune (this author included). We need to find some middle ground. There are certain issues that need to be handled in a centralized manner. The majority need to be handled in a de-centralized manner.

And we need to reduce defense spending.
