I can grow it pretty thick in my chin but jaw has always been very patchy. Both sides of my family were pretty sparse though. I will say it's much thicker now at 35 than it was in my 20s

No beard because after about 2 weeks I start getting red hairs on my chin. That being said, I shave it with a #1 about once every 2 weeks. Haven't been clean shaved in probably 6 years.
