Just one quick story.


When I was the 8th Marines, the XO was Major Sutton. Major Sutton was a nice guy but he was intimidating. He had lost an eye in Viet Nam. He had a regular glass eye, an eye with the eagle globe and anchor in it for special occasions and a glass eye with a skull and cross bones in it.

So years later I was telling this other captain about Major Sutton. He knew him; he worked for him when he was Major General Sutton.
