agree, i think speight is better than etling, but even so, he'd take a beating and would commit a costly turnover or two.

it comes down to matchups. Michigan is practically Bama-lite in the B1G. They outphysical the shite out of you defensively and are relentless. Offensively though, they fall straight into bama's wheelhouse...it would mirror the LSU game, but I think Michigan would at least score a TD

I think Michigan is really good, but Alabama under Saban has eaten teams alive who try to play their game and don't have the horses to run with them. Michigan doesn't have that quite yet.

While I don't necessarily think they're better teams than Michigan, I think OSU, Clemson, and Louisville would have a better shot against Bama just because of style of play.
