I'm trying to decide right now between grange and burly. I just feel like if I get burly, I'm going to have times where my feet just get too hot, and vice versa w the grange. Obviously it's hit in LA more than it is cold. How cold would it have to be before my feet r just too cold in the grange?

I always try and keep a pair of each honestly. If I'm not mistaken, I think it got cold enough to wear my burlies once or twice. But I'm glad a wore them when I did though!!

Most people have both unless they have fat feet. I'll wear the grange down to 40 or so. Can't wear anything thicker than light smartwool socks because they fit like laced up tight tennis shoes

You can get uninsulated burlies. Grange and Burly are just the fit. Grange are better for walking in sticky stuff and more comfortable walking all day long IMHO
