I was looking into the 6.5 as well and saw your post about that, that a nice group! So this steel case ammo for the 6.5, is it not the same as with the 223s where its not advisable to shoot, or is the 6.5 different?

I'm using a $99 Anderson barrel. After 150 rounds I've already saved enough $$$ to buy another barrel. I'm no operator throwing 1000's of rounds down range a year. I didn't build my 6.5G as a rifle to mag dump down the range. I might put a couple of hundred downrange a year and usually at a slow deliberate rate of fire. Also 6.5 Grendel is easier on a barrel than 223/5.56. Operates at a much lower pressure and velocity.
