He never said Saban would have to actually reinvent Bama's defense, just adjust the game plan from what he knew was Miles' all too predictable dog and pony show.

this is very true. in the final analysis, LSU has to protect Eting and give him time to run the play. w/o that, nothing else matters. imo, the only way we can win is to establish the passing game. we will need it to set up the run and we will need it to score points.
