Haven't heard much about him

Stanford's o-line is crap

He's banged up and his O Line has failed him

He will be a very good slot receiver in the NFL

Their o-line has been awful and he's not getting much help in the passing game. Combined 5-8 TD-INT ratio and barely over 1000 yards passing.

Stanford sucks.
Can't protect the QB, can't set up the run.
Defenses know the QB sucks and just key on Christian and David Shaw calls games which makes Les Miles look like Mike Leech.

His highlights never impressed me.
He is very shifty, but he often had huge holes due to good line and playing very poor defenses.
Look at his stats last season outside of Pac competition. It's somewhat telling.

With New England too

He's more of a 3rd down type of RB in the NFL or a receiver.

Their oline sucks and the QB isn't very good. They've also had to play the toughest defenses on their schedule in the first half of the season.
I said late last season when everyone was on the McCaffrey/anti-Henry bandwagon that his stats were being inflated by playing awful defenses week after week. Well here we are; they're facing actual competition and while he's done a great job to be productive with a weak supporting cast his numbers are very mediocre.
The remaining teams on their schedule are all pretty trash defensively so I wouldn't really be surprised if they win out and his name comes back up in the conversation if Jackson stumbles.

The same thing that happened to Fournette in the second half of the year last season-- no passing game means he runs into 9 man boxes.

His coach is the black les miles

That's rich.
So Henry's stats weren't inflated by playing behind Bama's O-line - but CM now isn't any good because his line sucks.
I'd rather run behind Bama's O-lines that Trent and Henry and Ingram got (see them now in the NFL) - than play Pac or Big10 defenses.
I don't know everyone says he sucked outside of the Pac. Wasn't the Rose Bowl outside of the Pac? Is Iowa now a Pac team?

I read an article a while back that pointed out that McCaffrey has never scored a touchdown in a road game

He died in 2015 and was replaced by a cyborg on quaaludes

Why'd you cut out the part where I stated pretty much the exact opposite? He's still a great player; the production just isn't there this season for the aforementioned reasons.
Henry was among the national leaders in yards after contact last season. Alabama's OLine was good but not great and was facing much tougher opposition; 11 of 15 opposing defenses were ranked top 40 by S&P+ compared to 4 of 14 for Stanford.
