Wife and I have spent a ton of time in DC over the years (she was in politics for about 20 years), so very familiar with the city, especially the Metro. This would be the first time going with our kids, they've been begging to go since they were little. Looking at a property outside of Arlington with offstreet parking.
Driving shouldn't be too bad, since we'll have 4 drivers in our car.

I'd want to kill myself if I had to spend 17 hours in a car and especially with kids.
